End of digitization for the herbarium Roland Bonaparte

Yesterday, the last part of Bonaparte Collection was being scanned. More than 640 000 photos whill be available pretty soon on recolnat.

Tribute to Joël Mathez

Joël Mathez passed away owing to a long-term illness. Ancient professor at the University of Montpellier 2. Joêl was a member of the scientific comity of the infrastructure. His kindness, his enthusiasm and his great competence will be missed.

End of the digitisation of the CBNA Herbarium

After 7 months of scanning at Montpellier, 71414 parts of herbarium packed in more than 478 boxes divided in 12 pallets went back home at the Conservatoire Botanique National Alpin in order to be placed in a safe place ! Cheer to the participants of this great moment whitin the CBNA staff and our heartfelt thanks to the members of the Muséum Départemental des Hautes-Alpes who came to help.

Exposition « Feuille d’herbe, iconographie botanique entre art et science »

Among the unknown collections of the University of Montpellier, there are illustrations, engravings or watercolours of which certain seem as well as art and scientific drawing.

The exhibition « Feuille d’herbe, iconographie botanique entre art et science » will be held until December 21 at the university of Montpellier.
